Bipartisan, Bicameral Group Introduces Water Bond Legislation
Citing the nation's undeniable need for job creation and updated water systems, U.S. Reps. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-N.J.) and Geoff Davis (R-Kent.), along with U.S. Sens. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) and Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), have introduced legislation aimed at creating jobs by encouraging private investment in water infrastructure upgrade projects.

NAWC Delaware Chapter Discusses "Understanding the Cost and Value of Water" at Annual Meeting

New Chairman Appointed to Maine PUC
Tom Welch was recently appointed chairman of the Maine Public Utilities Commission.
Welch had previously served as Commission chairman from 1993-2005. Between his Commission appointments, Welch worked for PJM Interconnection, a Pennsylvania-based regional transmission organization, and for five years was an attorney at Pierce Atwood, LLP, in Portland, Maine, specializing in energy and utility law.
