A milestone report published by the Aspen Institute’s Energy and Environment Program outlines how the United States’ aging and ailing water infrastructure can be restored and managed in a way that will not only be economically sustainable, but will protect the nation’s natural watershed and meet the various challenges associated with climate change, such as droughts, heavy storms and flooding events.

NACWA Awards Two Veolia Water Partnerships for 100% Permit Compliance

Arizona Water Association Names Arizona American Water’s Initiative ‘Project of the Year’
Arizona American Water’s Northwest Valley team was given the Water Reuse Small Project of the Year award at the annual Arizona Water Reuse Conference in Flagstaff, Ariz. The award is for innovative use of the Big Bubba Water Filter. The operation’s team invented a way to use the water filter for internal industrial use, reducing water consumption and cutting water costs by more than 50 percent annually.
