Water & Wastewater Leadership Center

NAWC is a proud supporter of the Water & Wastewater Leadership Center.

Exceptional leadership is essential for today’s water and wastewater utilities to
thrive. The Leadership Center’s curriculum is designed for current and
up-and-coming water and wastewater utility leaders including CEOs, General
Managers, Senior Managers and upper-level management. The Water & Wastewater Leadership Center prepares utility executives with the management and leadership skills they need to meet the challenges of today’s water quality issues – and customers’ current and future demands with the highest level of service and efficiency. This extensive 11-day residential leadership development program will equip students with the knowledge they need to develop strategic goals that deliver measurable results.

The Leadership Center’s curriculum focuses on:
  • Utility business assessment, personal performance evaluation and improvement planning
  • Self-awareness and assessment
  • Preparation of individual action plans
  • Examination of challenges facing public utilities in the future
  • Discussions on water and wastewater industry topics
  • Leading organizational change

With well over 300 program alumni, students rave about the intimate learning environment, top-notch instructors, state-of-the-art facilities and the invaluable management and leadership tools gained. Class size is limited.
